Frozen cargo (minus 18 – minus 24° C) storage and clearance is performed in the territory of the Freeport of Riga and customs warehouse – cold storage in Riga, Spridisa street 1 and Free economic zone warehouse – cold storage in Riga, Birztalu street 15.

Coldstore is located near berth. The allowed draft of a ship in the dock is 5.5 m and 9.5m, thus ensuring fast cargo delivery from the ship deck to coldstore.

There are also railway tracks leading to cooling chambers. In addition to the wagon sections with refrigerating machines, there are also available temperature control wagons, which are financially more beneficial for carrying frozen products.

Frozen item acceptance and delivery can also be provided in containers and trucks.

The overall coldstore capacity at the temperature up to minus 24° C exceeds 13 thousand tons of frozen products.

There are several open areas for storage of cargo of various types in port territory.

For customer convenience in each port there is an office with employees who provide economic activity. The head office and bookkeeping department are located in Riga centre.

The company is planning to develop even further, which means attracting new partners for joint cooperation in the Freeport of Riga.
